III “TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS MARKET” INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE – TRANSLOGISTICA KAZAKHSTAN 2021

“Transport and Logistics”TransLogistica Kazakhstan 2021, the international exhibition of transport and logistics services and technologies, will be held in Almaty on October 13-15, 2021. Over 80 companies from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Ukraine and Estonia have confirmed their participation.

Traditionally, the exhibition will host the largest industry event – the III “Transport and Logistics Market” International Conference. Authoritative speakers and participants of the business community will discuss the status and prospects of development of the domestic transport industry for two days.

Key topics of the Conference:

  • World Logistics Passport – opportunities for Kazakhstan. Modern logistics trends: the course to digitalization and outsourcing.
  • Containerization program.
  • Information and digital technologies in the transport industry.
  • Logistics in the modern world and development potential of the transport industry.
  • Railway transportation. Improvement of transit in rail transport.
  • Maritime transport.
  • Aviation industry in a pandemic. Infrastructure projects.
  • Road transportation. New opportunities in road transport.

The speakers will be the Ministers of transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, CIS and foreign countries, heads of the largest transport companies and associations. On October 13, the first day of the Conference, there will be a strategic session dedicated to the pressing issues of the transport sector to reboot the industry in the pandemic. Experts will discuss current logistics trends, application of digitalization and prospects for further development of the logistics market for Central Asian countries. Berik Kamaliyev, Vice Minister of industry and infrastructure development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as representatives of transport authorities of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, China, Russia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Estonia and other countries will attend the session. General Director of Globalink Transportation and Logistics Worldwide Sidik Khan, General Director and Chairman of the Board of “United Transport and Logistics Company – Eurasian Railway Alliance” JSC, Alexey Grom, Chairman of the scientific and technical council of the Research Institute TK, Eduard Kaplan, are also among the speakers announced.  Within the framework of the session it is planned to sign memorandums, hold working groups and business meetings.

The issues of containerization, development of multimodal transportation, formation of the tariff policy of «KTZh» NC» JSC and analysis of the development of a unified multimodal document will be discussed at the second session. Alexander Ovanessov, Managing partner of Arthur D. Little, will moderate the session. Also among the speakers are representatives of «KTZh» NC» JSC, «TRANCO» JSC, «IstComTrans», «KTZE» JSC, «RZhD Logistics» JSC, «Kedentransservis» JSC and others.

The third session will be devoted to the issue topical in the new realities – the introduction of information and digital technologies in the transport industry. The participants will discuss the main trends in TLC digitalization, IT systems of logistics operators and creation of market-places for transportation organization. The fourth session will raise questions of agro, industrial and retail logistics.  Representatives of the largest companies – Metro, Magnum, KenMart, SEZ Khorgos – will share their experience and practical cases. The first day of the Conference will be completed by the working group on transport with the representatives of the Republic of Latvia.

Evgeny Bolgert, a representative of the Association of Kazakhstan Freight Railway Carriers, will moderate a session on the development of rail transport on October 14. The session will be attended by the largest domestic railway and operator companies. The subject matter of the second session is the discussion of measures to support the industry of maritime and water transport, increasing the attractiveness of transit through Kazakhstan by sea. The third and fourth sessions, respectively, will focus on the aviation industry and road transport. The participants will share their views on the restoration of domestic passenger traffic, reconstruction of new ground infrastructure facilities and discuss the development of intercity and long-distance bus transportation.  The conference will finish with master-classes and presentation of innovative products from manufacturers, as well as working group on transport with representatives of the Polish Republic.

The format of the IIITransport and Logistics Market International Conference is hybrid and involves offline and online participation on the E-FORUM.NET platform.

The exhibition is organized by Kazakhstan exhibition companies Atakent-Expo and Iteca. The conference is organised jointly by Quality Business Forum, Atakent-Expo, Iteca and E-Forum with the support of the Ministry of industry and infrastructure development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan Temir Zholy NC JSC, Kazakhstan Association of Carriers and Wagon Operators, Association of National Forwarders, KAZLOGISTICS Union of Kazakhstan Transport Workers, Silk Road International Institute of Logistics and Business.
